The PaRR online application has been created to facilitate and expedite the collection
of applicant data. All data captured in this application is strictly confidential
and for use only by the PaRR Inspections project team.
If you have successfully submitted an online application please
do not submit another application.
All applicants are required to pass a federal background check conducted by the
Department of Homeland Security/ FEMA prior to being deployed. The background check
is intended to help protect FEMA staff, other disaster workers, and disaster victims
from unnecessary exposure to persons with a criminal background. The background
check is not a security clearance.
All applicants are required to be a United States citizen.
The online application consists of these parts:
- Affirmation of US Citizenship, your Social Security Number, and a current email address to which only you have access.
- Current contact information including address and phone.
- Personal information including birthdate and driver's license number.
- Experience in inspections and construction.
- Education.
- Other information, including languages and skills.
Please prepare all necessary information before beginning your application.

may prevent an applicant from passing the background check either through immediate
disqualification or following formal HQ Security adjudication.
