Roadmap to Becoming a Disaster Housing Inspector

Step 1: Fill out an Online Application; this will create a new training account for you. (If you have already filled out an application, do not fill out a new one; instead, email admin@parrinspections.com with your full name and contact info, and request a training account.)

Step 2: Log on to PaRR Online Training, and complete The Big Picture.

Step 3: Fill out the following online documents located on the Forms page under the Account Info tab: Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA), Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), W-9, Privacy Act, and Code of Ethics.

Step 4: Upon completion of steps 1-3 above, you will be issued your PaRR Inspector ID, which will be sent to you by email.

Step 5: Once you have a PaRR Inspector ID, please register online for a Mock Inspection Class (click Training, then Scheduled Classes, to find a convenient class).

Step 6: After attending the Mock Inspection Class, we’ll wait for FEMA to give us the results of your fingerprints, which typically takes 7-10 working days. In the meantime, you can continue with the Intermediate and Advanced Online Training. Once the fingerprint determination comes back as Favorable, you will be sent an invitation to complete your e-QIP (forms needed to initiate a Homeland Security background check). Once your e-QIP comes back as Favorable and you have successfully completed a Mock Inspection Class, you are deployable as a Disaster Housing Inspector with PaRR Inspections!
